The reason I am including this family on my family tree is because I think that Anna Marie/Mary Ann Struebel/Stuebel/Struble, probably was married a second time in 1867 to a Friedrich Brunck/Brunk and had a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Brunk. Mr. Brunk either died, disappeared or they divorced and Mary Ann Klopp/Brunk went back to the Klopp name and Mary Elizabeth (Mamie) Brunk was brought up as Mamie Klopp. Only when she married James Madison Court did she indicate her parents names were Mr. Brunk and Anna Brunk. This was my first indication that she might NOT be a biological Klopp. Please see the Court family for further information on this family. This Klopp family immigrated to Detroit from Germany and most of them lived in Michigan. I have not been able to find any further information on Friedrich Brunk.
